Who am I?

“It is your reaction to adversity, not the adversity itself, that determines how your life’s story will develop.”

-Dieter F. Uchtdorf

My name is Shane Oran Condappa. My fascination with health and fitness started when I was young.

My mom was going through breast cancer treatments and at 15 years old I was 230 lbs. I wanted to change my life and be healthier.

I went to Kean University where I received my Bachelors in Science in Athletic Training, Minor in Sociology, and a Certification in Personal Training.

Using my credentials, in 2011, I worked for a corporate gym. After a few years of climbing the ranks and becoming one of the top 5 trainers in the entire company of 450+ clubs nationwide, I was promoted to Assistant Fitness Manager. Life was great, but then Covid 19 shut the world down.

After doing zoom workouts with some loyal clients during the height of the pandemic, I decided to open my own personal training studio with a partner. We opened our doors on October 10th, 2020: “Colosseum Fitness”. Opening “Colosseum Fitness” was a great decision and it allowed me to develop a conducive environment for my clients well-being as well as for the trainers.

I can’t wait to see what the future holds! Thank you to everyone involved in my development and growth.
